Title: a small prayer request
Post by: bosshawg on August 03, 2008, 06:58:30 AM
 morning all,

haven't posted anything on here in awhile let alone this fishing season. Somehow i caught this infection that attacked by lower spine & left foot which has put be in the hospital twice and re-hab also since june 22. totatlly wiped out the fishing season as i got to only get out w/boat 3 times prior to this happening. going to get to go home for good this wednesday w/still a many hours of physical thereapy and medications.
hoping maybe to salvage oct. and make the last 2 tournies of year, but only time will tell if i'm strong enough to do so.
all i ask is a small prayer from my fellow fisherman so i may comeback to the sport that i so much love to do. thanks and god bless.

You got bud.  Thoughts and prayers your way.

If you get enough strength back to fish the back seat only give me a holler we'll see what we can set up.

thanks dan & motocross for the latest posts...appreciated!

update - still @ home, even thou i got the go ahead last week from doctor's to return to work, i'm thinking that's in jeporady as i'm still waiting to hear from them on my return. it's not looking good, but not wanting to jump to conclusions yet. but another story.
attending physical therapy 3 times a week. still back has its good days &  bad. dealing w/it has i can and using a cane when i'm out & about. doctor's say this will take awhile to heal, so no short solutions. medical term to what i had is osteomyelitus. can attack anywhere and this one was my spine & foot. i have some limited mobility issues, but working hard to get the "kinks out".. ;D

thanks again,
dave

Life can be challenging at times, no doubt. Sometimes more challenging than at others as you are going through now. I hope things work out the way you need for your job. Companies should practice what they preach about employees being their best resource. There'd be many more successful companies if they would do that. Let's hope your company is one of the smart ones. Just in case they read this, I will say I am sure they are! Good luck!
