Title: Grosse Pointe report
Post by: tubechucker on April 24, 2018, 01:16:12 PM
Not much of a report but an update.  Fished the river and two of us got our limit of walleye in three hours so we headed over to the flats between Windmill point and the delphine.  Steady north wind and pretty stained warer.  The river was 43 to 46 degrees but the flats were anywhere from 47 to 50 degrees. I thought we would fond a few but no bite and no follows.

Fished for only about 90 minutes. Threw traps, jerkbaits, blades and tubes, nothing.  Fished all depth ranges out to  11 fow.

Thoughtthe warmer water would get a few fish active.
