Sign up for the DK Open may 5th.  It is a members event from this board.  There will be information shares on where the good fishing is.   I will be out the week before and will tell you what ever I find.   As tournament season gets closer guys will not share any information worth while.

For May anything along the Mile Roads from Crocker Launch to the Detroit river will be good.  Fish will be shallow.

Like Mike said.   Blade bait early then as they get closer to bedding use a tube or drop shot.   Cast to any dark spots.

Mostly comes down to wind and cold rain. You need breaks in both of those for really good fishing though the bass will do what they need to do at some point regardless.
