Title: Drop Shot Wieghts

Anybody on here making and selling dropshot wieghts??  I like the lond cylindrical type but open to others as well.

On Bassboatcentral there is a guy that is selling them very cheap.  Look in the tackle for sale section.

there was a bag of them at the DK open someone donated.  I am sure Dan would know.

If you use a lot of them like I do, it is not too hard to start making them yourself.  Pretty quick payback.

The swivel clips are 0.04 each, and lead is about 1.00 a pound right now.  That means for a 3/8 oz weight, your cost is about 7 cents each.

All you need is a pouring pot ($50 - 75) and a mold (do-it mold for $20).  You can buy additional molds to pour tube heads and jigs - it will save you a ton of money.

Fishing the slag piles in current, I have used 40 drop shot weights a day - you would go broke paying 50 cents+ for them.
