Title: Looking for Team Tournament Partner for 2017 Events
Post by: spinnerbation on January 06, 2017, 03:42:47 PM
Looking for a Partner to fish a Team Series this year (Boater or Non Boater).

My partner from last year can't do all of them this year, but I'd like to make the classic again.

All the launch locations are all in SW Ontario. Here is the Tentative Schedule:

T.B.B.A. (Tri-Bay Bass Anglers)

Here are the CONFIRMED dates:

1st qualifier July 2 Long Point Bay - Turkey Point
2nd qualifer Jul 23 Rondeau Bay - Erieau
3rd qualifier Aug 6 Lake St Clair - Mitchell's Bay
Classic top 30 teams Aug 26-27 St Clair River - Sarnia

Please contact me if you might be interested. Thanks!

We have a few Ontario members and a hundred or so Ontario visitors per month. If no one is jumping on here yet maybe have you tried posting on Big Fat Bass also? I think that is the name of a fairly popular Ontario bass fishing forum. Just a thought. Good luck!

Thanks Dan, I've been on that board for a number of years and have had success finding partners here and there in the past. However I have not posted there more recently because I've had difficulty finding someone that wants to fish the series down here.

Most the guys on that forum fish the Tours on the lakes North / East of the Toronto area in the Kawartha's, Lake O and Eastern Ontario etc. I've had a number of guys willing to pair up with me, but only if I wanted to head up that way. And to be honest I used to fish those events. But with a growing family it's harder to travel right now so I have to fish locally.

As such it's harder to find partners here because the few guys around here that do fish normally have more committed long term partnerships. Everyone else around here will fish an event or two but never really commit to a series. So I'm kind of stuck in that loop if I want to fish locally.

Well... shoot! Good luck finding someone. Maybe for now you can find several different people to cover them all in the end? I'll keep my ears open.
