Title: Lions 2015
Post by: Skulley on November 11, 2015, 09:25:31 AM
What happened to all you die hard Lion fans this year???  Usually you guys are all excited by the new season after their 11 and 5 season last year.  But once again, the same old Lions.  Here they are at 1 and 6 and they finally fire Martin Mayhew and Tom Lewand which I wouldn't have hired either of those clowns.  Matt Millen like so many other GM's with the Lions picked his predecessor just like back when the Lions could have had Jerry Vanessi and they hired the other Jerry whatever.  As most of you may or may not know Vanessi ended up at the Chicago Bears and the Bears ended up in a couple of Super Bowls and won them.  Of course that was years ago but I didn't forget.  So now the Lions have to do something about the Head Coach.  I don't like him either.  It's time to win.  It's been way to darn long.  I hope Mrs. Ford actually does something unlike her useless drunk of a husband.  I still don't have much faith that the Lions can turn this around in my lifetime and I'm in my late 50's.

They better pick up Joey Bosa with their first round pick next year.  If not that then an offensive lineman. If they pick up another RB, WR, or QB, I quit watching the Lions for good. They're effing terrible at the draft.

Drafting a number 1 QB does no good when after 4 or how many seasons he has been here he still cant call out blocking for the front line.... glad I have and always will be a packers fan.....

Stafford is just a avg. QB nothing more.. Strong arm but dumb as a box or rocks...

BD- we're still out here, but embarrassed as all get out. I know the Lions will never make it to the superbowl in my lifetime, but I love football and they are my team. Got Martha's e-mail yesterday, and I might add that she seems to have more "cohanes" (?) than her husband ever did. I was considering giving up my tickets after this year, but i'm still trying to decide. 35 years and counting, it's hard to quit....

Cojones is the word you're looking for there, but this is a family site.
