MDNR public fisheries forums in March, April and May 2015 (http://www.greatlakesbass.com/conservation/index.php/2015/03/13/mdnr-fisheries-forums-in-march-april-may)

Conversations & Coffee with Michigan DNR Fisheries Division scheduled throughout state

The Department of Natural Resources has announced it will again this spring offer public forums throughout Michigan, inviting the public to discuss local and statewide fisheries management activities and concerns.

Conversations & Coffee with DNR Fisheries Division will take place in each of the eight DNR management units that oversee Michigan's fisheries. The purpose of these forums is to allow the public to meet managers and biologists, discuss local issues and management activities, and get specific questions answered.

These informal forums also will make information available on local and statewide regulations affecting anglers. Refreshments will be provided.

Meeting dates, times and locations include:

For more information on these meetings, visit michigan.gov/fishing (http://michigan.gov/fishing).

These are a good opportunity for you to meet your local MDNR Fisheries Division staff. Share your thoughts with them. If you're in a club you should invite them to visit your club and/or come to your events.

I'm planning on being there tomorrow too. Not sure what I'm going for yet other than to listen and ask a few probing questions about where we are all at in the fisheries management playbook.
