At 2:30 the lake was covered in snow today. By 5:30 this is what happened!!!!!!!!!!

Get the boat ready... My lake in S/E Mi. Did the same thing. Still 18 inches of ice on it. Going to be around 50 today so the melt is on.
Agreed! Looks like this warm up is cancelling my trip to Grand Traverse Bay this weekend.

Well. Back to normal. :D The shack went back out today. There is a little water , mabye half a inch, and only in spots. Most of it refroze last night and there is still 24 inches of ice left. Not going anywhere anytime soon up here.
Guess that's why they call them drains. Interesting to see. I plan to hit the ice in the morning. Probably the last time.
