Title: HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT ULTRAPOINT HOOK TECHNOLOGY?

How do you feel about Ultrapoint Hook Technology by Mustad? Do you know of any comparables?

I use some Mustad hooks and really like them.  I've tried the Trokar hooks that I would consider to be very similar and found that they get dull fairly quick in comparison.  It's like the points "fold over" or something requiring them to be sharpened more often.

I used the Ultrapoint hooks as replacements on my crankbaits (which I have more than a few of) especially KVD's extra short shank Triple Grip hooks. I also use them for most of my jig pouring - tubes, bass jigs. I think they're an excellent blend of sharp quality vs. price point. My favorite!
