Hit the Mile Roads. We caught em on white jerk baits, a big football 4 lb nailed a white w/ orange/chartruese and white blade spinner 13 - 14 mile area. More catches on pumpkin/pepper 3" tubes - a few others on various tubes - pumpkin purple gold flake (McCarter Special) grub did well all day. All catches in the 4 - 6 foot drift under cloudy conditions - clear waters. None deep or shallow.
Also caught a 4 lbs in front of Selfridge, once the sun tucked back in they hit the same spinner bait, more on tubes and grub 6 foot clear waters.
We finished with about a dozen and culled about 16 lb on paper including Jack's son caught 2 keeper large mouths - one on a Jale Earnhardt Jr. baby rattle trap !!!! Crazy ! Great Day !
