Keep an eye out for my Michigan BFL Link Andrew Lemle on the Lake Norman FLW tournament this weekend. He currently sits in 62 place in the points for Co-Anglers and hopes to move up this week. He drew Mike Hawkes for his first day pairing.
Hey - how did he do? I did not get a chance to check the full results other than I think I heard Larry Nixon won?
He struggled and came in somewhere around the top 100. Currently he is in 92nd place in points, so he really needs to put some TXs together for the Northern swing. I think he will do well in those TX though.
I will be pre-fishing some of the BFL lakes with him this year so I am looking forward to picking up on some of the tactics he has learned this year fishing out of the back of the boat in the FLW tour.
First day on Beaver Lake, Andrew Lemle sits in 25th place (still weighing in) with a 5 fish limit for just over 5lbs.
He has dropped to 31st. I think he is going to do real well down there. The weights are really low on both the Co side and the Pro side.
The rest of the michigan connection are struggling. Last I looked we didn't have anyone in the top 100 on the pro side.
I just checked and Lemle is paired up with Tony Couch on the pro side for tommorrow. Couch sits in 7th place.
Defilipo from michigan is in the top 20 on the pro side
Andrew is in 3rd place after 120 have weighed in. Hopefully he can stay in the top 10 and make the cut. Lots of Co-anglers to weigh in though. I will have to call him tonite and stir him up a little bit.
