Title: Senate Bill 869 passes full Michigan House today
Post by: djkimmel on May 15, 2014, 11:26:26 PM
SB 869 passed the Michigan House today 108 yes vote with 1 no vote. The bass season bill now returns to the Senate to be enrolled in Journal before being sent to Governor Snyder. We are checking with the Governor's office tomorrow to make sure we have a favorable support for signing as soon as the bill gets to the Governor.

SB 869 has immediate effect so as soon as it is signed it removes all bass season limits from state law granting full authority to the Natural Resources Commission to create a new bass season for 2015.

Several persons have helped tremendously at the Capitol including a GLBass member and MUCC, along with Senator Hansen who first introduced SB 869.

I believe I will be giving an update on the latest this Saturday sometimes around 11:15am or 11:30am on WDFN The Fan on Bob Bauer's Outdoor World radio show - www.bobbauersoutdoorsworld.com
