I'm installing a recessed pedal tray this year in the front deck and, at some point in the near future I'll be upgrading to a Fortrex with US2. I'm planning on running the channel for the US2 cable off the pedal when I put the recessed tray in. My question: does the Fortrex come with an extension cable for Lowrance HDS units or should I just by the sonar extension cable now and rig it in when I run the channel?
