Title: Wed. nights at Wabasis is a go!
Post by: Waterfoul on May 22, 2013, 08:03:08 AM
Got the email yesterday from the organizers.  Gander has actually come thru with more backing this year than ever.  There will be gift card give-aways at every event, no $5 membership fee this year, and free food at the classic.

Cost is still just $20.  Start time is 6:00, weigh in at 9:30 until August, then it moves to 9:00.  And like the last couple years a 3 fish limit.

If you are looking for something fun to do during the week come on out.  Good group, well run, and decent paypacks for such a low entry fee.

Hope to see some of you there.

Man I was hoping they wouldn't do it this year, give that lake a rest.  They have ruined a great lake with all of the tournament pressure on such a small lake.  I can remember when you could go and catch a good bag of fish, now you can hardly manage a limit.  :(

We normally catch a decent limit and then some EVERY wed. night.  It also fished great in the early part of the season.  The crankbait bite has died there over the years though.
