I'm glad I've been finding some more steelhead, just have the itch to fish.
;D

Nice fish! What did you catch him on?
I got both them on little cleos. I pretty much only use cleos, thundersticks, and spinners. They hit these lures so hard! I gave up years ago using flies...

Hope I can keep some action going til bass season opens.. Caught on a #6 panther Martin.
That sure looks like fun! Been a few years since I got out early in the year after steelies. I was never very good at flies either. Good thing they'll hit other stuff!
I still remember some of my early season river walleye fishing too I haven't done in a while. I remember one day in my formative years hammering smallies from shore in February while it was snowing on medium running crankbaits from an eddy I'd only caught walleye in before (back then all the 'bass experts' - writers in the 'big' magazines - told me bass were 'dormant' in cold water like that)... thinking if this happened to me now I'd be thrown in jail as a 'known' 'bass angler.' ;D Man, this closed season nonsense has to end... I just want to fish, and I never met a fish I didn't like. :) Good job.
