Title: Conneticut Elementary school
Post by: motocross269 on December 14, 2012, 02:24:49 PM
If there ever was a time to get down on your knees and ask the Lord for help and comfort for a community today is the day....

I honestly think i am going to be sick...

I agree.  This is very sad.  My hope is that people will not misplace blame.  This isn't God's fault, it's the devil plain and simple.  It's difficult to find a true source of comfort/peace during something like this for many people.  So my prayer is that God will touch the hearts of the families of the victims and those who are outraged, angered, and confused by this.

To casual observers of this board, please do not turn this into a philosophical debate.  This is not the place for it.  Please respect that this is a board for people of faith to share, not a place for criticism.  Thank you.

I honestly can't imagine the pain that town is going through right now. It's totally beyond my comprehension. I will do what I do when I want help from someone bigger than me.

You are right Rev... Sometimes it doesn't matter how tough, rich, powerful or prepared you think you are, evil will smack you down.... I think it is the lack of control and reasoning that scares alot of us because the question "what could we have done" cannot be answered....

All I can do is pray for those affected by this horrible act of personal choice and free will corrupted. I do also hope that, as a population with common need, more of us do anything we can to prevent more of these tragedies. Maybe none of us can do much individually, but as a society, I have to always believe we can do more to limit or reduce bad things that happen.
