You could join the Bass Boys(a tbf club) right here through dans site and you might want to look into American Bass Anglers ABA formerly Military Bass, ABA has alot of military guys both boaters and non boaters and have top angler awards for each branch of the Military on the national level.

Thanks alot for the information...One more question??? I just joined the TBF (Bass Boys).  I see that TBF members get priority on entries for BFL.
Is there a spot when you register online to put your TBF info in...Also how soon before I recieve my membership Number. from TBF
Thanks...Still need a boater.  HeeellllP

Got your membership motocross2. Thanks. When you register with BFL, just tell them that you are a federation member.

By the time they confirm with TBF, you will be on the roster. TBF doesn't use member numbers (for now) - FLW Outdoors is the only one who will give you a member number at this time.

If you enter or join anything online at FLW Outdoors, just use the code - federation in the code box in the online forms.

If for some reason they check soon with TBF national, TBF national will always confirm with the state if they don't find you listed yet. I've got you on my club list and will be sending in another update to our state office this weekend.

I still don't know which clubs we are getting for sure yet. I'm in the process of helping 2 existing clubs join, and we've heard from 7 or 8 possible new clubs. I just won't know for sure until we actually get their rosters and dues into the state. I'll update the club list on the TBF of Michigan website (http://www.michigantbf.com) as soon as we officially have them.

It doesnt sound like you'll need to worry about priority entry.  Maybe some of the guys can confirm or dispute this but I dont think the fields fill up for the BFL's.  You just need to make sure you are paired with a boater.

I'll be needing a co-angler to sign up with for all 5 hopefully.  All depends if I get the big boat soon enough!!

Since we've never filled before, you don't have to worry about getting your entry in real early if you have a boater/co-angler match, but you have to be in by the priority deadline for each tournament or the boater/co-angler match is not counted.

Well I figure the sooner I register the better..Just in case something happens with my boater or If I can't find a boater for Burt and Mullet...I am sure all the Co-Anglers don't get paired up with boaters prior to the tournament..that is why I registered early on the first day for all 5 tournaments...Just to be safe.  I don't want to be sitting on the sidelines at a tournament.  Most of the expense for me is taking a couple of days off and getting to the tournament...If I get there and have to sit one out I won't be too happy.
I am definetly looking forward to fishing this year..It should be fun.
I have alot to learn, and am looking forward to it.
Thanks
