Title: signing up as a non-boater??? (without a boater)
Post by: motocross269 on December 13, 2006, 09:21:22 PM
If I sign up as a non-boater now can I add a boater later??? I want to get my registration in ASAP so I don't miss out on any tourneys... Is it common for Co-Anglers not to get a draw because there isn't enough boaters?
This is my first year back..I fished Redman a little bit back in the late 80s, then I went in the Army.  I retired this year and plan on fishing the full BFL series from the back of the boat next year.  I figure it will do me some good to get my feet wet for a couple of years as a Co-Angler.
Thanks,
B

You can add a boater anytime before the priority entry deadline for each tournament.

You will want to find a boater. We usually have a few more co-anglers than boaters. Later in the year, the difference may get bigger so just paying entries early is not a guaranty to fish.

It is a great way to get your feet wet. You can ask on here for a boater. Also ask on www.lakestclair.net on the Tournament Talk forum and maybe on the discussion board from http://bfl.flwoutdoors.com.
