Title: Southern Fried Joshimoto Son
Post by: McCarter on November 02, 2006, 09:30:58 AM
Got the scoop from Joshimoto last night.  He finished day 1 with 3 fish for 5 lbs 13 oz which landed him in 41st place.  he is tied with one other cat.  Josh lost one fish due to a malfunctioning palomar knot.  That fish would have helped him greatly.  2 of his fish came on a Frog and one on a fluke.

He was excited about his draw for day 2 as they will be fishing the same area.

Keep the fingers crossed.  More to come.

Guess he didnt find that freeze dried 2 lber I left for him.

He's only 3 lbs out of the top ten, not bad for being paired with a pro who only caught 1 fish.  Poor guy cant catch a break.  Let's hope today goes great for him!!  Love to see him weigh in a limit today!!  His partner today only weighed in 2 fish yesterday though.

Going into meditation mode now, will try and push some karma his way.

Well, Josh didnt fare as well on day 2.  He caught one keeper in the last 40 minutes, but it was a squeaker.  He estimated the fish only weighed about 12 oz.  He did not weigh it in.

He said that heavy winds ruined the spot his day 2 boater wanted to fish, but they stuck with it anyway.  By the time they were ready to go, they didnt have a lot of time to run around, so they went into a small cut and worked some docks.  Joshs fish came on a small shaky head worm.

If that guy could just catch a break, he would surely win one of these.

He needs to go pro so he can make his own breaks.   I'm confident that if he was controlling his destiny, he'd make it happen.  I fully believe that.
