We put the jonboat in a small lake in Northern Indiana that has a pretty crappy gravel boat ramp and couldn't believe the results! My grandpa caught an 8.1 that was 26 inches long, one of the biggest bass I have ever seen in the area. A few casts later, I hook up on a 24.75 inch 7 pounder. We also caught 6 off beds right up next to the bank. Water temp was 57 near shore and 54-55 everywhere else... We ended up with 27 pounds off our biggest 5. Not quite the 30 pound bag, or the 8.3, we popped there a few years ago but it was pretty dang close...
