News and Standings Available on BassFan.com FLIPPIN, Ark.—
Fans of competitive bass fishing can now keep up-to-date on the popular Ranger
Cup Contingency Programs by visiting BassFan.com on the Internet. A new, special Ranger Cup section on
BassFan covers the sanctioned Ranger Cup events and trails with in-depth
news and standings. Each week the
section highlights the winners of the Ranger Cup events with photos and
interviews. In addition, the section
will feature news regarding the tournament circuits that host Ranger Cup
events. Registrations for the Ranger
Cup program may also be completed on the Ranger Cup section of BassFan.com. "BassFan.com
is the most-visited web site on tournament bass fishing in the country, so it
makes perfect sense to promote the country's most popular boat-owner's bonus
program there," said Ranger Boats Senior Vice President Bart Schad. "This is a partnership that really
serves the information desires of bass tournament fans and
participants." "Ranger
Boats has proven time and again that they're never satisfied with the status
quo," said BassFan president Jay Kumar.
"With the new Ranger Cup section on BassFan.com, Ranger once
again raises the bar in bass boating.
Now Ranger Cup winners get a check and their names and photos up in
lights, right up there with tour pros like David Walker, Clark Wendlandt and
Mike Wurm. How cool is that?" The interest
level in Ranger Cup news and standings has grown tremendously in the past
three years with over $1 million in cash and prizes being awarded to
tournament anglers since the inception of the program. Ranger Cup competition in 2003 is taking
place in more than 20 tournament circuits. To qualify for
Ranger Cup competition, anglers must own a Ranger boat, fish from a Ranger
boat at qualifying tournaments, meet clothing and decal display requirements,
and return a completed official registration form. Details of the Ranger Cup Program are available on BassFan.com
