FLIPPIN, Ark.—
New for the 2004 tournament season, Ranger Boats has introduced a new
“Powered By Yamaha” bonus to their very successful and lucrative Ranger Cup
program. Participating Ranger Cup anglers who run a Yamaha motor and meet
promotion requirements set by Ranger Boats and Yamaha Motors can add an
additional 50 cents on the dollar earned in the Ranger Cup program. To qualify for
the Ranger Cup, anglers must own and fish from a Ranger boat in qualifying
tournaments, and meet clothing and decal display requirements. Also new for
2004 is the requirement that participants must be a member of the Ranger
Owners Group to register for Ranger Cup competition. Anglers must be
registered for Ranger Cup before competing in a qualifying tournament to be
eligible. Registered
Ranger Cup anglers running a Yamaha outboard can sign up for the Yamaha bonus
payout by contacting Ranger Boats and providing the serial number from their
