For some anglers, it doesn¹t get any better than a Z boat; others swear by a VX. So instead of letting the argument linger, we¹ve cross-pollinated the two to come up with a high performance design destined to turn heads on and off the water. Touting an ultra-responsive, high performance hull design, the all-new Z520 Comanche is quick on its feet and firmly focused on fishing. Even more new features are fused with what many consider to be the ideal tournament-engineered interior layout. It all combines to create a serious fishing rig that knows how to take up the slack and make things happen. Measuring 20 feet, 9 inches with a 95-inch beam, the Z520 Comanche is rated for a beefy 250 horsepower, to get drivers to their favorite spot and back to weigh in when time is of the essence. The vessel also has two 24-gallon fuel tanks for making long runs. "The history of Ranger Boats is intertwined with professional bass fishing, and the future will be, too," said Ranger Boats President Randy Hopper. "This design has all the features and styling of a Z Comanche, the same geometry as the legendary 520VX and lots of extra features that no other boat has. This boat was built for competing in bass tournaments at the highest levels. No other boat delivers the power, the space, the performance, fishability and features that this boat delivers." When fishing, the Z520 Comanche provides the same kind of stability that Ranger owners demand, plus the front deck houses three separate rod lockers, holding rods 6 1-2 feet in the starboard rod locker, 7 1-2 foot rod in the center rod locker and 8-foot rods in the port rod locker. The boat is available in both a single- and dual-console configuration and comes standard with either Lowrance or Humminbird electronics at the bow and console, a 24-volt Minn Kota trolling motor and on-board charger. Carpeted throughout, the spacious, padded front deck has an available recessed foot pedal. Bike seat and pro pole as well as an all-new, all-weather fold down seat are included for use in the forward and aft fishing positions. With an integrated cooler, boarding ladder, integrated tackle management system and a new locking latch system for the storage compartments, the Z520 Comanche is available in a wide range of color options for the hull and interior. Equipped with a double-axle, custom-matched trailer featuring Road Armor and LED lights, the Ranger Z520 Comanche is easier to maneuver and enjoys the smooth trailering benefits of custom alignment and individually balanced wheels. Up front, the center swing jack retracts flush to the frame and creates a more balanced load, making it even more secure on the trailer. Combined with matching fenders, aluminum wheels, matching spare tire and wheel, Ranger's exclusive oil bath COOL Hub® lubrication system, torsion axle suspension, and swing-away tongue, the RangerTrail trailer delivers lasting peace of mind and easy towing.
