up with NASCAR to offer an incredible prize package for the winner of a
raffle benefiting two children’s foundations started by one current and one
former NASCAR racing legend. A 519 NASCAR
Limited Series Ranger boat and a NASCAR weekend getaway ( including two
tickets to the NASCAR Busch Series race, the “Little Trees” 300 on October
15th (TNT, 8:00 PM EST), as well as two tickets to the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup
Series race, the UAW-GM Quality 500 on October 16 th (NBC, 7:00 PM EST) at
Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Charlotte , VIP tour and a meet and greet with racing
legends Jeff Gordon and Richard Petty ) are being raffled to benefit The Jeff
Gordon Foundation and Victory Junction Gang Camp. “We are excited
about the opportunity to participate in a project that provides needed funds
to organizations that do so much for children’s causes,” Ranger Boats
President Randy Hopper said. “We have partnered with NASCAR in promotional
ventures and it is very pleasing to now be associated with them in a
charitable activity. The Jeff Gordon Foundation and Victory Junction were
started by good people who have found an admirable way to contribute to
society. We are happy to be a part of that.” The Jeff Gordon
Foundation, a non-profit organization established in December 1999 by Jeff
Gordon, benefits The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, The Make-A-Wish
Foundation, The Marrow Foundation and Riley Hospital for Children. The
Foundation is dedicated to help support the physical, social and intellectual
needs of children and their families throughout the United States. Founded by NASCAR
driver Kyle Petty and his wife Pattie in honor of their late son Adam,
Victory Junction will be a year-round, multi-disease camp serving children
from the Carolinas and Virginia. The camp will provide sessions to children
ages 7 to 15 with life-threatening illnesses. The Victory Junction Gang Camp
will have a racing theme that allows campers to begin their experience by
entering the camp through a tunnel and crossing a starting line into the
world of racing. Raffle Tickets
are $100 each with a limited number of 2,000 available. Tickets purchased
directly benefit The Jeff Gordon Foundation and Victory Junction Gang Camp, a
